Changes to Licence Activation
The licence activation process in ERP-Scale is necessary to avoid illegal use of the product, however in previous release of ERP-Scale it was not clear to identify when a licence activation had failed.
From ERP-Scale V3.0.4 the following changes have been made:

If a licence number has been entered, but it is no longer activated, then no weight will be returned to SAP. Previously the weight returned to SAP had the digits scrambled which couild lead to an incorrect weight being accepted.

An email address can be entered in ERP-Scale on the licence form. If a licence activation error occurs, then an email notification will be sent*.

ERP-Scale will attempt to renew the licence activation 10 days before the current activation key expires. If the activation fails, an email notification* will be sent, allowing the issue to be remedy before the current activation key expires.
*Note: An email notification can only be sent of the activation request was received by the Pocket Programs licencing webservice. If the webservice can not be reached due to network/proxy/activation relay problems, the no email notification will be sent.
